NEVER-ENDING LISTING

On my way to work yesterday, I keep listing up things in my head... things that could make me happy or someone happy... I started filling up my list within 20 minutes with a lot of things and on top of my list would be great family members and good friends.

2) Stable financial condition

3) Great educational background and religious life… (This is however just for some ppl.. but all I know religion & education is vital nowadays)

4) Accommodation & great neighbourhood to live in especially one with nice view… (This popped-up on my mind when Campsie glen was in front of me…)

Oh, how could I forget! Having said all that without a healthy body, all luxury could be useless…

Then, when the bus comes to halt and the driver smiled at me, I started listing up again…

6) If you travel to any destination using public transportation, maybe a behaved driver could be a great help for you especially if you are travelling home after a tiring day… hmm…that’s really true I guess…

7) Pleasant holiday vacations… I’m thinking of going to Italy this year… but where to?

hmm...what else... aah!

8) Comfortable clothing to wear... especially shoes… a pair of snickers perhaps

9) Tasty food to enjoy... watch out char koey teow...! I'll be back this year...heheheh

10) Nice weather... owh..maybe not.. well, sometimes you do need this... hmmm

I could continue filling up this list forever… I decided to stop listing yesterday once I saw my ward... suddenly there was something else comes knocking on head...

I wonder what happened to the seven months pregnant young lady who died yesterday after choking on food. Or did she killed hersef? In a psychiatric hospital, anything is possible! But it’s a shame, she was just 22 years old.

Owh no! A post mortem??!! She got baby in her stomach... for God's sake! ...

Salam,

I'm sorry to note about the 22year young woman. Say, don't tell me you are doing medicine there?

wasalam...

nope...i'm currently studying electrical power engineering..n i work part time during the weekend serving food for psychiatric (drugs n alcohol)patients.. yeah.. everybody was a little bit upset abt it & after the incident they (her ward mates)dont really wanna talk abt what happened to her... it really was a tragedy..

MasyAllah Yanie! You are doing an excellent job even though if its just serving food to those patients. I do know for a fact that a small number of those patients became an addict not due to abuse - in the initial stage - but due to the prescription given which made them dependent on those substance.

Electrical Power Engineering! Hmm...I guess that would be different from Electrical Engineering. And I gather you would be studying all other forms of power supply in comparison as well, wouldn't you? Good! Because, the world will be needing other forms of Electrical power supply later. InsyAllah, you would be able to assist Malaysia, at the very least. Best of luck to you.

hmm.. well may be abt drugs.. but u do know that scottish are 'proud' of their drinking culture dont you?..

elect. power is one part of electrical engineering... mostly we're dealing with power distributions & transmissions(the grid)..incl designs, protections.. n also demand & supply managements.. n not to forget.. power stations.. generator, turbines..etc

insyaAllah.. n thanks.. :)

Yanie, seriously, I didn't know Scots have a drinking culture. But come to think of it, which non-Muslim culture does not, eh? I mean, Irish for their ale, English for their bars, French for their wine, Germans for their beer, and the Iban in Sarawak for their Air Tapai!

Me, I'd rather a good Air Kelapa Muda now :)

yeah.. i guess u are right.. nway.. rod steward's daughter once hospitalised due to binge drinking.. she did say that she thought her half scottish blood could handle that.. hee

i could still remember 2 years back while i was doing my undergrad, there was this guy coming into class still suffering frm hangover.. he stared at the professor with his blank face… n everybody in the class can’t help it but giggled at him throughout the class... u hv no idea how eng students behave in class.. owh.. that one was classic! :)

air kelapa muda?... how could you! nak jugak!... huaaaaaaaa
